Riverbank Car Park closure
On Monday 1 February 2021, the Riverbank Car Park permanently closed to make way for the NSW Government’s construction of Powerhouse Parramatta. Part of Leabeater Car Park (near Oyster Lane) also closed, with 21 car spaces removed. View a map detailing the closures (PDF).
City of Parramatta Council operates a range of paid ticket parking throughout the Parramatta CBD.
Motorists will still be able to park at Council’s Eat Street (Erby Street), City Centre (Horwood Place), Justice Precinct (Hunter Street) and Parramatta Station (Wentworth Ave) car parks.

More parking around the city
There is limited parking available for the general public at the Novotel and the Meriton and in other private parking stations. Some of these parking stations offer flat all-day rates e.g. $12 for six hours or $20 parking.
Bankwest Stadium also offers casual paid parking in the Stadium’s western and northern car parks at $3/per hour or $10/day. Please note there is no on-site parking available on event days, be sure to check the event calendar.
