Proposed pedestrian and cyclist facilities

 

City of Parramatta Council has received funding offers for the installation of various pedestrian/cyclist facilities as detailed below:

  1. Installation of a raised pedestrian crossing and speed cushions at the intersection of Raymond Street and High Street, Parramatta (as shown in the attached sketch Survey Ref: TS 2022 58)
  2. Installation of a combined raised pedestrian and cyclist crossing on John Ian Wing Parade at Louise Sauvage Pathway, Sydney Olympic Park (as shown in the attached sketch Survey Ref: TS 2022 59)
  3. Installation of a combined raised pedestrian and cyclist crossing on Good Street at M4 Cycleway, Granville (as shown in the attached sketch Survey Ref: TS 2022 60)
  4. Installation of a combined raised pedestrian and cyclist crossing on Alfred Street at M4 Cycleway, Granville (as shown in the attached sketch Survey Ref: TS 2022 61)
  5. Installation of a combined raised pedestrian and cyclist crossing on Victoria Street at Bridge Street, Epping (as shown in the attached sketch Survey Ref: TS 2022 62)

Council is consulting with the community and is inviting written submissions from residents, businesses and relevant authorities. Submissions must be provided to Council by Tuesday, 20 December 2022

Items 2, 3, 4 and 5 are funded by the Get NSW Active State Government Program and Item 1 is funded by the Australian Government Black Spot Program.

Please clearly state your street address, corresponding survey reference number (Survey Ref: TS 2022 XX) and your opinion of the proposal (Support, Support to an extent, Do Not Support) in any reply you provide.
