Council has a strategic opportunity to create a new workplace for its staff with focus on best practice in workplace design, that will encourage increased collaboration, flexible work settings, streamlined work practices and increased connectivity through improvement in the physical space it occupies.

The future workplace will support a flexible, dynamic Activity-Based Work setting in both our administration building and Rydalmere Operations Centre (ROC).

City of Parramatta's vision for our future workplace is:

Our workplace is forward-thinking, flexible, and adaptable.
It:
INSPIRES us so that we can perform at our best.
CONNECTS us and supports collaboration with others.
ENABLES us to make a difference.

The City of Parramatta will relocate its Administration Offices to 9 Wentworth Street, Parramatta and occupy levels 1 to 4 by 30 June 2023.
City of Parramatta Council has developed and endorsed a workplace strategy that assumes a total work point capacity of approximately 865 staff (with flexible work arrangements) in 4,735 sqm of space (over 4 levels) with a consistent standard of workplace experience in an ABW setting and a choice of locations between a CBD location, the ROC and from home. In addition to this, we will also upgrade the office fit-out at our Rydalmere Operations Centre (2,860 sqm over two floors) to ensure a consistent workplace setting across both locations.

CoP is now seeking a partner to design, document, and deliver the new workplace as well as manage the transition process from current work practices to an Activity Based Working (ABW) environment.
