Vibrant Parramatta

Transforming our City with art, light and culture!

Vibrant Parramatta is a City of Parramatta Council initiative supporting local projects that enhance the visual appeal and cultural identity of our town centres and CBD. From bold wall art murals and architectural lighting to carefully restored facades, this grant program helps transform our city, one building at a time.

If you’re a property owner, this is your opportunity to revitalise your space with support from Council to bring your project to life.

Artists are also invited to submit expressions of interest for a chance to create an original mural that celebrate our stories, our people, and our place, adding energy and meaning to our urban landscape.

This competitive and merit-based program aims to support local businesses, stimulate community visitation and engagement, and reinforce Council’s commitment to urban renewal and cultural development.

Submissions open from Monday 11 August and will close 12 pm Tuesday 7 October 2025.

Heritage Façade Restoration

Own a heritage-listed property or in a heritage conservation area? This stream supports works that revive original architectural features and maintain the historic character of Parramatta’s built environment.

Enhance your property's visibility and charm with Architectural or Decorative lighting.
