There are many more people in our community needing to access local emergency relief and support services at this time. These services provide essential household items to those who cannot afford to buy them otherwise, and services need help to meet increasing demand.

If you have stored pantry and bathroom items you won’t need this week or next, please consider donating.

Items sought are:

  • non-perishable foods including tinned goods, packaged breakfast cereals and long-life milk
  • nappies, wipes and sanitary products
  • toilet paper and tissues
  • shampoo, deodorant, soap and sanitiser
  • cleaning products

Please Note – Council has collated this information in partnership with local services as one response to the impacts of the COVID19 crises on our community. These services are external to Council, and Council is not involved as a third party in any way – all questions should be directed to the services involved.

Before making a donation

  • Ensure social distancing laws when donating. Follow the specific delivery instructions of services and service staff
  • Goods should be "as new" in original packaging, unopened and within the use-by date
  • Goods and hands should be sanitised as far as possible prior to making a delivery to the chosen collection point.
  • Do not donate items other than those requested above. Toys, clothing etc should be placed in roadside charity bins
How to donate

Please read and follow the information below about the service you are considering donating to.
