Conditions of participation

Welcome back to our face to face activities. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, we have several measures in place. Please take a minute to read the following.

    • We kindly ask you to pre book all our library activities online as we will not be able to accept walk ins.
    • To participate in a story time session, parents/guardians/carers must book a family ticket for themselves and inform us how many child/children in a family to come joining the story time.
    • Please be on time, as entry to story time sessions will close 5 minutes after the start of the session.
    • For children 10 years old or under in participating other children’s activities, Parents/guardians/carers will need to stay inside the library or in a designated area when activity is on, to adhere our current Keep Children Safe in the Library policy.
    • You will need to show proof of booking upon arrival.
    • We request that you observe 1.5 metre social distancing inside the library and/or follow the floor markers. Please do not move any furniture.

For the safety and wellbeing of everyone, you must not come to an event if you:

    • feel unwell or if you are displaying any of the Covid-19 symptoms as identified by NSW Health, such as fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste,
    • have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days or are awaiting the results of a Covid-19 test,
    • are required to self-isolate,
    • have been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19 in the 14 days before your intended date of visit to the Library,
    • have returned from overseas or have visited a “positive Covid-19 case location” as outlined by NSW Government in the last 14 days before your intended date of visit to the Library.

    • Participants must agree to adhere to the current physical distancing requirements, register their personal details with Service NSW and apply hand hygiene before entering the library/designated area.

    • Due to the evolving nature of the Covid-19 pandemic and legislation, requirements may change from one day to the next. Consequently, the City of Parramatta may need to make changes to these Conditions of Entry from time to time.
