Centre fees

Fees are adjusted annually on 1 July.

At present, Council’s early learning centres at Dundas, Ermington, Jubilee Park and Northmead have a Monday and Friday fee of $127 per day and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday fee of $129 per day.

The North Rocks early learning centre’s Possum and Wombat rooms have a $133 per day fee, and its Koala room has a $127 per day fee.

You may be eligible to receive a fee subsidy from the Commonwealth Government. The childcare subsidy is the main way the Commonwealth Government assists families with their childcare fees.

Families with preschool age children may also be eligible for an additional fee reduction through the State government Start Strong Fee Relief program.

Our commitment to quality

The Australian Government’s National Quality Standard sets a national benchmark for early childhood education and care services, promoting the health and wellbeing of children.

All Council centres are meeting or exceeding the National Standards.

We have qualified teachers and educators from a variety of cultural backgrounds that provide excellent care and education for your child’s individual needs.

Daily programs are provided that develop children’s strengths, interests, and social skills, and to respect their cultural backgrounds.

To facilitate the healthy development of children, Council centres have qualified cooks who provide nutritional meals for the children that meet all dietary and allergy requirements.

All centre menus have been assessed against the Caring for Children guidelines and reviewed within the NSW government Munch and Move program.

Our commitment to child safety

Council is committed to fulfilling its duty of care to ensure that children and young people who access Council services are safeguarded from harm, recognising that feeling safe can be as important to children and young people as being safe.

Child safety and protection is everyone’s responsibility, including Council workers, families and carers of children and young people.

Council is a registered agency under the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 (NSW) and is committed to fulfilling its legislative and regulatory obligations regarding child protection.
