Councillor Bob Dwyer, a representative of the North Rocks Ward, has served on City of Parramatta Council since 2017, serving as Lord Mayor from September 2019 to September 2021. Prior to this, Cr Dwyer served the former Parramatta City Council for a total of eight years, including serving as Deputy Lord Mayor in 1999.

As a long-time local resident, Cr Dwyer understands the day-to-day issues that impact the City and is committed to delivering improved outcomes for all residents.

Self-employed, with an extensive background in the banking sector, Cr Dwyer is also a passionate advocate for Parramatta’s local businesses, cultural life and plans to deliver a vibrant 24-hour economy, as well as activating its many town centres.

Cr Dwyer has been an active Riverside Theatres Board Member since 2012, having previously serviced on the Board from 1995-1999, and has served on the CEO Performance Review Committee, Former Councillor Representation Committee and Local Representation Advisory Committee.
