Feast on Eat Street. Free parking on us!

City of Parramatta is offering free parking to customers who dine-in at participating restaurants on Eat Street

To support our community and local businesses, Council is offering free parking at Eat Street and Riverbank carparks between 6pm and 3am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. 

Just spend $20 or more at participating Eat Street restaurants (listed below) and pick up your free parking ticket from the restaurant when you pay your bill.

Four (4) hours free parking is available at Council’s car parks on Sundays. A flat rate of $10 is charged if you stay for more than 4 hours.

Terms and conditions

The conditions of participation in the program are as follows:

  1. Free parking tickets are only valid between 6pm and 3am on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. Customers are required to pay for parking outside of these times.
     
  2. To receive a free parking voucher a customer must dine-in at a participating Eat Street restaurant and spend a minimum of $20 (including GST).
     
  3. Free parking vouchers will be offered at the following Council operated car parks:
    1. Eat Street Car Park – 1-7 Erby Place, Parramatta; and
    2. Riverbank Car Park – Dirrabarri Lane (off Phillip St), Parramatta.
       
  4. Any free parking voucher issued must be used by the customer it was issued to on the same evening as the customer’s restaurant dine-in experience.
     
  5. A maximum of one voucher per customer per purchase may be issued.
     
  6. The customer must be issued a tax invoice from the business in which they dined, as evidence of the customer’s purchase from the restaurant valued more than $20 (including GST). If requested by attendants at the Council operated car park, the customer may be required to produce the invoice as evidence of having spent more than $20 on dining in a participating Eat Street business prior to their use of the free parking voucher.
  7. Each of Council’s car parks located at:
    1. Eat Street Car Park – 1-7 Erby Place, Parramatta; and
    2. Riverbank Car Park – Dirrabarri Lane (off Phillip St), Parramatta

operate with different ticketing systems, accordingly, the customer must confirm with the business which car park they are parked in before being issued with a free parking ticket.

A free parking ticket for one car park, will not work in another car park.

  1. Customers who have not parked at either of the above Council operated car parks will not be entitled to any free parking vouchers.
  2. This program will run until 31 January 2021, unless determined otherwise by Council.
  3. Participating businesses are subject to change at Council’s discretion.
