The City of Parramatta is pleased to announce the recent upgrades at Boronia Grove Community Centre are now complete and will be officially open from Saturday 26 June.
To celebrate, Council is hosting a free ticketed Family Fun Day, with a range of fun activities, including tours of the new facility.
Local community members can enjoy live music; meet your Councillors stall; composting workshops; Parramatta Artists’ studio activation; games with Active Parramatta; free show bags and a sausage sizzle; plus more.
As an official supporter of Plastic Free July, City of Parramatta is avoiding single use plastic at the event. Please bring along your bottle and refill at our water refill station.
All registered ticket holders present on the day will also go into the draw to win one of three $50 AT Parramatta Gift Cards, which will be drawn by our Epping Ward Councillors on the day.
As part of the Stronger Communities grant funding, the State Government has invested $1.95 million in to the refurbishment of Boronia Grove Community Centre. As a result, the community now has access to the following spaces for hire: five meeting rooms, a function space and an art space. An onsite café will soon be available for use.
Make sure you head down to the Family Fun Day for a tour of the facility, which will be running every 30 minutes and conducted in Korean and Chinese translations. If you would like to book any of the spaces for use, please make a booking via Council’s Booking Office.
City of Parramatta is committed to upgrading public spaces such as Boronia Grove Community Centre to ensure that our growing local community has access to modern facilities close to home.
