Remembrance Day is one of Australia’s most important national days of commemoration that marks the anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914-18). Each year on November 11, Australians observe one minute’s silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts, and in appreciation of their sacrifice.
Our local Epping and City of Parramatta RSL sub-Branches are hosting public memorials for the community to attend and commemorate Remembrance Day.
