COVID-19 Safety and Hygiene Measures
The health and safety of our staff and customers is always a top priority, so we kindly ask all visitors to comply with the following measures:
- Use hand sanitiser before entering all library facilities.
- Practise social distancing by maintaining 1.5 metres between yourself and others. Library staff will monitor occupancy of the facility to ensure capacity does not exceed four square metres per person.
- Hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes will be provided at study tables and computer stations. All visitors should use these before and after the use of equipment.
- All returned library items will be quarantined for 24-hours.
Following the NSW Health requirement that libraries record all entrants’ details, each visitor must register their name and contact method via QR code phone scanning or through tablets provided near Library entrances. This is to enable NSW Health to effectively notify people should there be a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the Library at the time they attended. These details will not be used for any other purpose, stored securely and confidentially for 28 days when they are then destroyed.
Customers will be able to book a 30 or 60 minute session on a computer, limited to one session per person per day. Only one person is allowed to use a computer at a time.
