It’s not just about books!

As a Library member, you can access an array of services aimed at providing the community with reliable and up-to-date information resources. All Library branches have free wireless and include a range of services as outlined below.

Branch Libraries 

  • Bookings are recommended

  • Book up to 3 days in advance 

  • Sessions are held for 5 minutes

  • Cancelled sessions need to be rebooked if log in does not take place

  • Additional time can be booked if allowance is reached

  • Computers turn off 15 minutes before the library closes

  • Purchase a Casual Access Card (half hour increments) from the Customer Service desk for additional computer time

  • Express PCs are available for 30-minute sessions and cannot be booked
  • For members use and Casual Access Card holders

  • Computer and internet bookings are recommended for Branch Libraries

Community Information Database

  • Search the Community Information Database for information on community groups and services

  • LINCS is a specialised electronic community information system that allows Councils and other organisations to work together to collect information that is published online and in printed directories
