Our parks and green spaces are important places
Aim
The aim of this project was to test the use of sensors to assist Council in improving recreation planning and park operations using real-time data.
A range of sensors have been installed to monitor soil moisture, water and amenities usage, and the local temperature, humidity, and wind at Doyle Ground in North Parramatta.
The real time data collected at Doyle Ground will over time continue to provide new insights that can help with future planning and operations for these important parks and green spaces.
