Feedback

A professional development program delivered in collaboration with West Space

Feedback is a cross-city artist development program and skills development lab delivered by Parramatta Artists Studios and West Space. Bringing together artists from Western Sydney and Naarm/Melbourne, the program supports the development of new and in-progress ideas through experimentation, research and collaborative learning. 

Engaged through an open callout process, participating artists work with mentors, curators and peers through an intensive program of workshops, masterclasses, site visits, feedback sessions and one-on-one development opportunities. Rather than focusing on finished outcomes, Feedback creates space for artists to test concepts, take creative risks and explore new approaches to making.  

Developed in partnership with West Space, Feedback fosters critical dialogue and peer exchange while building connections between artists, curators and creative communities across two cities. Through mentorship, collective learning and the sharing of works-in-progress, artists develop new skills, expand their networks and refine ideas for future presentation, commissioning and exhibition opportunities.  

Feedback is an ongoing platform for artistic development, supporting artists to explore emergent forms of practice and contribute to new conversations shaping contemporary art.
