PAS connects studio artists and alumni to kids and families through the Future Artists Club workshop series. Every school holidays, PAS welcomes kids and their caregivers to learn new skills together and deepen their understanding of how artists work.
Workshops provide professional opportunities for artists and support teaching experiences as valuable to the local community. Recent examples of vibrant Future Artist Club workshops include watercolour painting with Claudia Nicholson, name translation on ceramic tiles with Keroshin Govender and listening to plants with Nicole Barakat.
All kids and families workshops include materials and are free or low-cost. Kids will create something original with the guidance of professional artists and take it home. All ages and abilities are welcome, with age ranges specified in the description of each workshop.
