No, our program runs perpetually, throughout the year. This means that classes run continuously, even during the school holidays. Swim School will pause for 3 weeks over the Christmas/ New Year period each year, and you will not be charged for classes during this time.

No, the PAC does not offer trial classes due to the size of our program. All enrolments are set at a minimum of 12 weeks.

Yes, all patrons who are wishing to swim will need to be in appropriate swimwear made from Lycra and Nylon; we do not permit regular clothes of any type in the pools. This assists us in maintaining a high-level water quality for all our patrons to enjoy.

All swimmers who are not toilet trained are required to wear a swimming nappy to assist us in avoiding pool closures. For swimmers under 3 years of age, we require them to wear a disposable swimming nappy with a reusable swimming nappy over the top. Children’s disposable and reusable swim nappies are available for purchase at the Service Desk & Retail Area.

Yes, we are a registered provider of both Active Kids and First Lap vouchers for programs that meet the program duration requirements set by Services NSW.

Please visit Learn to Swim | City of Parramatta (nsw.gov.au) and submit your voucher details using the form at the bottom of the page. Please allow up to 15 business days for your voucher to be processed. We will be in touch if there are any issues with the voucher redemption.

*These vouchers can only be redeemed if the student has a current enrolment in the PAC learn to swim program.

Swim school enrolments can be changed through the membership portal found on our website under the courses tab.

Enrolments for swimming classes are a 12-week minimum commitment.

Suspensions are available for 2 weeks per calendar year and require 2 weeks written notice via email.

Medical suspensions need to be advised within 48 hours of the injury/illness in writing via email. A medical certificate must be supplied for all medical suspension requests.

Cancellations requests must be submitted in writing with 2 weeks’ notice via email.

We do not offer make up classes at the PAC. If you or your child is sick, please stay home. A sick swimmer will not benefit from attending classes.

Yes, the PAC operates on a completely cashless system.

Yes, as part of your learn to swim enrolment you can enter the aquatic facilities 60 minutes before your class. However, we do recommend swimming after classes, so our swimmers get maximum impact during their class. You are welcome to stay after your class until the centre closes.

At least 1 responsible parent/guardian will need to stay poolside during your child’s class. Please remain seated and for any questions, please speak to the Aquatic Program Supervisor on pool deck and not the instructor currently teaching.

Entry is included for 1 spectator per enrolled student. If you wish to use the facilities, you will need to pay the applicable entry fee. If you have your own membership, you can access as normal.

Yes, if you wish to enter the pool on a day other than your learn to swim class, you will have to pay for entry.

We will commence with a 45-minute Mini Squad class. As our swimmers and the program develops, we will commence a squad program, including an option for adults.

Swimming costume (appropriate and well fitting), a towel, goggles for older more independent swimmers and a swimming cap if hair is long enough to get in their eyes.

Swim nappies are mandatory for any child under 3 years and/or any child who is not toilet trained. We request that you use a disposable swim nappy (Huggies, Baby Love etc), underneath a reusable swim nappy. Please ensure swim nappies are tight-fitting to catch any solid accidents. Disposable and reusable swim nappies are available for purchase at PAC Reception.

Swim class is often the first time a child has been in a class situation without their grownup, and this can be very unsettling for them. It often takes a few weeks to settle into a new environment, and it perfectly fine for them to sit on the edge of the pool and watch for a week or 2 while they become comfortable with their instructor.
