Local Planning Panel

All Sydney councils, including the City of Parramatta, are required to establish Local Planning Panels (LPPs). LPPs provide an increased level of accountability and independent oversight to strengthen decision-making on planning outcomes.

The City of Parramatta LPP performs a range of functions including:

Determining development applications
Reviewing planning proposals; and
Providing expert advice on planning and development matters.

The LPP considers development assessment and other planning reports from Council staff.
