Get Into Nature program
Get into Nature is a series of Council workshops, guided walks and events designed to connect people with their natural surroundings.
The Get into Nature events are run by Council’s Bushcare Team allowing local residents and visitors to experience the amazing plants and animals in Parramatta’s bushland reserves in a safe, friendly and engaging way.

Get Into Nature - Nature Play at Balaka Falls
Join us for a morning of unstructured play, where kids can explore, discover and connect with the natural world! They'll enjoy a fun bushwalk, unleash their creativity with a nature-inspired craft activity, and experience the joy of free play outdoors.

Location: Balaka Falls, Hunts Creek Walking Track.
Meeting Point: Meet at the reserve entrance between 34 and 27 Norfolk Place, Carlingford.

Get Into Nature - Reptile Show
Explore the world of reptiles through a hands-on, interactive experience like no other. Learn about the stories of our unique animals and how each and every one of us can do our part to ensure the survival and longevity of Australia's Natural World. This is a family friendly event. Children are welcome with an adult guardian. Parking is available, the venue is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible toilet on site.
