Youth PAC Fitness Program
PAC Youth is a 8 week after-school youth fitness program for Teens 11 to 15 years. In a fun and inclusive environment, qualified fitness trainers will guide participants through age appropriate exercise, strength training technique, appropriate facility behaviours all while integrating games and activities based around teamwork, and physical activity.

- Duration: 8-weeks
- Day/Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4.00pm - 5.00pm
- Cost: $31.20 per fortnight (8-week direct debit minimum- ongoing unless cancelled with 2 weeks notice)
- Age: 11 - 15 years

Parents/guardians do not have to be onsite but still need to make sure they are contactable if needed. Note to inform the trainer of how their child will be getting to the PAC and back home.

All exercises are based on Sport Australia’s Physical Literacy Frameworks, meaning everything is evidence-based and will only be executed by qualified trainers.

The program is designed to teach the participant the basic movement patterns that are commonly done in the gym. The course will mainly consist of bodyweight movements with light weights and machines.

The class capacity is currently set to 15.

There will be 1 trainer running each session. There will also be a Health & Fitness staff member on the gym floor.

The program will be taking place in Studio 1 and on the gym floor.

Yes, we ask that all participants ensure that they bring along a towel and water bottle.

Fully enclosed sport shoes, t-shirt or singlet and appropriate pants or shorts must be always worn in gym areas. Work clothes, school uniform, sandals, thongs are not to be worn in gym areas.

Each week they will be learning invaluable skills, so it’s highly encouraged that all participants attend at least 1 session a week. Of course, things may pop up and if the participant missed 1 week, unfortunately, they will not have the opportunity to be marked as competent.

Participants must meet attendance, behavioural and skill expectations to be marked as eligible for progression onto a Youth gym membership. Please note that a parent/guardian over 18 must be present with the teen on all their visits and additional requirements met in order to maintain their youth membership.
