Race with the PAC

The PAC Squads program is a great way for swimmers to continue to advance and achieve their full potential in the pool. Running year round, this program helps refine swimming skills whilst most importantly having fun. Our team of qualified coaches deliver specialised programs and work with each swimmer to achieve their desired goal.

See below a breakdown of the different levels within our squad program. Each level has its own a set requirements for skills and number of sessions per week.

 

 

Stingrays

This is the first level of our competitive program.

The main purpose of this level is to transition students from Learn to swim to competitive swimming.

The students work on technical development more accurately, dealing with race situations on a daily basis (turns, starts, relays), building the physical foundations to become athletes while developing an individual competitive mentality and the concept of a team at the same time. 

To access this level a student must possess basic and correct knowledge of the 4 strokes.

Class Size 

1 instructor to 10 students

Duration 

60 minutes

Sharks

This is the intermediate level of our competitive program.

Participants have an understanding of the strokes, turns and starts in a complete and developed way. The purpose of this level is the construction of the athlete. Participants work more on the physical prerequisites of performance, constantly seeking more specific technical improvements.

Participation in competitive events is strongly recommended.

Thunderbolts

The most advanced level of our program.

Participants possess high general technical skills and physical abilities capable of guaranteeing that they can attended many weekly sessions with a high level of physical commitment.

The key point of the Gold squad is the exaltation of individual talent through personalised technical - physical programming, the coach - student ratio is decreased and use is made of advanced video analysis tools.

This group is the best representation of our philosophy: "collective excellence through individual customisation”,

Adults Fitness

Squad 18+ Years

This program aims to continue to build and strengthen technical skill developed in the Adult Learn to Swim Program. 

Participants will develop competitive strokes as well as being introduced to correct starts, turns and finishes.

This program is tailored to individual goals, while providing the opportunity to master technical swimming skills and work towards building endurance. 

Catering to swimmers looking to take their skills to the next level, whether it be for general fitness, triathlons or masters.
