Council has nine (9) Advisory Panels which meet quarterly and play a significant role in the functioning of the Council by providing valuable insights and recommendations on various matters. Council’s Advisory Panels have been established to facilitate the sound functioning of the Council by bringing together a mix of skills and representing the diversity within and interests of the community. Community representatives will be appointed to these Advisory Panels following a public Expressions of Interest (EOI) process, and their inclusion ensures that a wide range of perspectives are considered. The Advisory Panels provide input into policy development, planning, and advice to the Council across all areas where there is likely to be an impact. They also promote increased knowledge and understanding of specific issues, which helps in making informed decisions. The Advisory Panels will meet quarterly. Advisory Panel meetings are not open to the public to attend or address.
