Starting on Monday, September 25th, the City of Parramatta Council will cease operations at Macarthur Girls High School Pool.

We kindly suggest you explore the newly established Parramatta Aquatic Centre, located at 7a Park Parade, Parramatta 2150, open from Monday 25th September for the Public. Also the Epping Aquatic Centre, situated at 26 Stanley Road, Epping 2121.

Aquatic facilities

Update - The new Parramatta Aquatic Centre will open to the public from 2pm on Monday 25 September. See more information here.  As a result, City of Parramatta will no longer be operating from Macarthur Girls High School Pool.

Commencing Monday 25 September 2023

Days Opening Times
Monday to Friday 5:30am to 7:45pm
Saturday & Sunday 7:00am to 7:00pm
Public Holidays 7:00am to 7:00pm


Swimming finishes 15 minutes prior to the Centre closing.

Council reserves the right to make changes to opening hours as operational needs or staffing levels require it.

City of Parramatta manages the Epping Aquatic Centre and Parramatta Aquatic Centre.

Dolphins swim school

The Dolphins Swim School is a learn to swim program that caters to all ages and capabilities.

Dolphins Swim School operates classes at both Epping Aquatic Centre.

Access cards

Casual visitors of high school age or above need an access card to use our aquatic facilities.

The access card is free, but normal centre entry fees and charges apply for use of facilities and services.

Multicultural community beach and ocean safety program

Surf Life Saving NSW are running 'Day at the beach' community sessions.

The sessions run for about 45 minutes and can be delivered face to face or online via Zoom.
