Looplab Parramatta
LoopLab Parramatta is a fully funded circular economy mentoring program for hospitality businesses being delivered by Cirque du Soil in partnership with the City of Parramatta. It is designed to help cafés, restaurants, caterers, pubs, clubs and other hospitality businesses prepare for NSW's food waste requirements and improve waste and recycling practices.
What's included?
Participating businesses receive:
- A Bin Trim waste assessment (onsite or virtual)
- An introduction to circular economy principles
- Information on the NSW EPA Bin Trim program and available equipment rebates
- Two one-on-one mentoring sessions
- A personalised Bin Trim Report and Waste & Recycling Action Plan
- Support to access recycling equipment rebates through NSW Government programs
Who is it for?
The program is tailored for small and medium-sized hospitality businesses (SMEs) within the City of Parramatta LGA, particularly businesses at the beginning of their circular economy journey. The focus is on reducing waste, improving resource recovery, and preparing for food organics requirements.
