Parramatta Lanes Draws Over 200,000 Visitors and Wins Best Event Campaign

Parramatta Lanes, the City’s flagship food, music, and arts festival, lit up the CBD with more than 200,000 people flocking to the streets over four vibrant nights. The 2024 event featured:

  • 70+ street food stalls
  • 180+ performers
  • 8 stages across 16 sites

The festival also took home the Best Event Campaign award at the 2024 Western Sydney Tourism Awards, cementing its place as one of the region’s premier cultural events.

City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Martin Zaiter said the event showcased the City’s diversity and creative energy:

“Parramatta Lanes is proof of our potential to become a globally recognised events destination. Our streets came alive with food, music, and art from around the world—right in the heart of our City.”

A Festival of Global Talent and Local Pride

Highlights included:

  • A headline set by internationally acclaimed DJs Sunset Bros, returning from Amsterdam to perform in their hometown
  • Performances by Western Sydney artists A.GIRL, Becca Hatch, and B Wise
  • Pro Wrestling Australia live shows and Pup Culture, a dog-friendly zone with an agility course
  • Immersive art installations like Lost (an Alice in Wonderland-inspired floral garden), Otto and Anina (colossal cat sculptures), and Trumpet Flowers (interactive musical blooms)
