Community Events Grant Information Session

Join us for the City of Parramatta's informative and engaging sessions tailored for organisations and individuals eager to apply for the Community Events Grant.

Our information sessions will guide you through the application process focusing on: 

  • Eligibility Criteria, and the necessary administrative and financial documents.
  • Clarifying specific areas of the form going through the responses we are seeking. 
  • Understanding the assessment and awarding process.
  • Tips and tricks for writing a successful grant.
  • Opportunities to ask questions and get personalised assistance. 

The Community Events Grant aims to support vibrant events and festivals that enhance the liveability of the City of Parramatta. Our goals for this category include: 

  • Offering free or low-cost events to the public.
  • Adding fresh, exciting events to the Parramatta calendar. 
  • Attracting new visitors to the city.
  • Delivering social, community, recreational, and cultural benefits to residents and visitors alike. 
  • Hosting events within the Parramatta local government area, benefiting the community. 

Applicants can request funding for up to 50% of their total event budget, with a maximum grant of $10,000.
