Clean-up Services

The City of Parramatta currently provides a total of 4 kerbside bulky waste clean-ups per calendar year.

These must be pre-booked by residents. Clean-up material put out without any booking or earlier than the night before your booking date will be investigated as illegal dumping and you could be fined.

Booking a clean-up

Booking a clean-up is easy:

*Please note that waiting times to book the next available clean-up could take up to 4 weeks.

*Residents living in multi-unit dwellings and complexes must call Council’s contractor VEOLIA on 1300 580 811 to check eligibility for Clean Up.

Cancelling a clean-up

Booking cancellations must be reported to Council two business days prior to your confirmed clean-up booking. Please phone Council’s contractor VEOLIA on 1300 580 811 or cancel your booking online.

Accepted items

Remember that your clean-up material needs to be:

  • Less than two cubic metres in volume
  • Stacked neatly and does not obstruct the adjoining road or footpath
  • Able to be safely lifted by two people
  • Placed out only the night before your booked date

If your items are still in good condition, or are in need of repairs, please check out your local rehoming options to help to extend the life span of your items while reducing waste to landfill.
