If you are looking for ways to help others in the community at this time who may be isolated and vulnerable, local services need help now and volunteering opportunities are available. Many services are seeking the assistance of community members to reach out to those who might be socially isolated, and ensure food and other essentials reach them. Some positions may require a Working With Children Check (WWCC) via Service NSW. If you are a volunteer, you will not need to pay the fee.
Services may list opportunities individually or may list them via websites that collate all the opportunities available with various services. Council also has volunteering opportunities, but they use a collated list website service (SEEK Volunteer) to advertise the specific positions available.
