Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day is one of Australia’s most important national days of commemoration that marks the anniversary of the Armistice which ended the First World War (1914-18). Each year on November 11, Australians observe one minute’s silence at 11am, in memory of those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts, and in appreciation of their sacrifice.
Local Remembrance Day Services
Our local Epping and City of Parramatta RSL sub-Branches host public memorials for the community to attend and commemorate Remembrance Day.
The City of Parramatta pays special tribute to Epping and City of Parramatta RSL sub-Branches, for their longstanding history of supporting the community, as well as all past and present service personnel. RSL sub-Branch services are supported by City of Parramatta.
