ABOUT THE COUNCIL: 

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences.


ABOUT THE EOI:  

Council is inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced Head Contractors who have expertise in Design and Construct projects greater than $15m. It is envisaged between three (3) and five (5) construction firms that will be shortlisted to proceed to the second stage for the Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the Don Moore Community Centre Redevelopment.

A summary of the scope includes;
•    Site preparation works 
•    Demolition of all buildings on the site.
•    Removal of identified trees & retention of all identified trees 
•    Provide tree & root protection zones – TPX & RPZ
•    Construction of the new facility:
        Function spaces; and
        Amenities
•    Landscaping and public domain works including:
•    Tree planting
•    Pavements 
•    Fencing

No site inspection is proposed at this stage but will be facilitated for short listed proponents during Stage 2 – Invitation to Tender.

Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box (see option below) by 10.00am, 20th of June 2025.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME: 

Tenders close at 10.00am, 20th of June 2025 and submissions must be fully received by this time. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted, and any action or contact that may be considered as an attempt to influence a decision of Councillors or Staff shall disqualify the relevant tender. Late, verbal or emailed submissions will not be accepted.
