About Councillor Kellie Darley
Councillor (Cr) Kellie Darley was first elected to City of Parramatta Council in December 2021, and represents the Dundas Ward.
Cr Darley currently serves as:
- Chair of Environmental Sustainability Advisory Panel
- Member of Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee
Formerly served as:
- Member of Assets and Infrastructure Committee
- Member of Finance, Property and Governance Committee
- Member of Multicultural Sub-Committee
Cr Darley is a respected community champion, who was awarded City of Parramatta Volunteer of the Year, for the 2019 Local Australia Day Awards, and 2020 Parramatta Woman of the Year.
Cr Darley is the co-founder and owner of ParraParents, the popular online guide and community for families living, working or playing in the greater Parramatta region.
Cr Darley brings over 20 years of leadership experience in public health and community development, having worked across both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors.
Cr Darley holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Arts in Applied Anthropology and Development Studies from Macquarie University, and a Master of Public Health from Sydney University, these are credentials that reflect a deep commitment to understanding and improving community wellbeing.
A proud mother of two boys who attend local schools, since 2014, her family have made their home in the Dundas Ward.
