Parking Meter Refund

If you paid at a parking meter and didn’t receive a ticket or EasyPark activation:

  • Call 1800 017 827 (free call) so a technician can attend the meter.
  • Purchase a new ticket from a working meter and display it in your vehicle. Council enforces a ‘pay and display’ system. Not displaying a valid ticket may result in a fine.

Refunds are only issued for duplicate payments. 

Submit your claim within 5 business days and attach copies of your tickets.

Car Park Refund

To request a refund for a Council-operated multi-level car park:

  • Complete the online form and attach your ticket or receipt.
  • Refunds are only approved for verified equipment malfunctions.
  • Lost or misplaced tickets are not eligible for a refund.

A claim needs to be made within 5 business days.
