Parramatta & Epping Drop-off Areas

There are dedicated parking areas within the Parramatta and Epping CBDs where motorists are able to pick up and set down passengers.

Pick up and set down areas

In general, areas sign-posted for No Parking and Five Minute Parking can be used for this purpose. Hours of operation may apply to some signs.

Parramatta Railway Station set-down/pick-up areas

Motorists can use the following locations when setting down or picking up passengers near Parramatta Railway Station.

South side

  • Within the ‘No Parking’ restrictions, south-west side of Valentine Avenue south of Wentworth Street, Parramatta
  • Within the ‘No Parking’ restriction on the south-west side of Fitzwilliam Street in front of the taxi rank
  • Within the ‘P5min’ ‘No Parking’ or ‘No Parking – Coaches excepted’ restriction on the north-east side of Fitzwilliam Street
  • Motorists can also use parts of Fire Horse Lane for pick up and set down of passengers

North side

  • Within the ‘No Parking’ restriction on the west side of Smith Street, north of Darcy Street (outside the Sydney Water building)
  • On Darcy St near the pedestrian crossing

Epping Railway Station set-down/pick-up areas

West side

  • Within the ‘No Parking Australia Post Vehicles Excepted’ restriction on the north side of Bridge Street
  • Within the ‘No Parking’ restriction on the east side of Rawson Street (near My Chemist)
  • Within the ‘No Parking At All Other Times Buses Excepted’ restriction and the ‘No Parking’ restriction on the west side of Rawson Street (outside The Epping Club)
  • Within the ‘No Parking’ restriction in the laneway off Rawson Street (outside Club Tracks)
  • Within the ‘No Parking’ restriction on the west side of Rawson Street (outside Coles)

East side

  • Within the ‘No Parking 6:30am–9:00am and 4pm–6pm Monday–Friday’ restriction on the north side of Pembroke Street (outside Bendigo Bank)
  • Within the ‘No Parking’ restriction on the south side of Pembroke Street
  • Within the ‘No Parking 6:30am–9:00am and 4pm–6pm Monday–Friday’ restriction on the west side of Oxford Street
  • Within the ‘No Parking 6:30am–9:00am and 4pm–6pm Monday–Friday’ restriction on the east side of Oxford Street
