George Kendall Riverside Park

One of Parramatta's most loved and popular parks. It's located along the Parramatta River on the Ermington side of Silverwater Bridge.

The Parramatta Valley Cycleway runs along the reserve. The ground is used for cricket, football and baseball throughout the year. 

You can also find an off-leash dog park on the eastern side of George Kendall Reserve near the corner of Gregory and Trumper Streets. 

History

George Frederick Kendall (1905-1995) was an Alderman of the former Ermington/Rydalmere Municipality from 1944 - 1948. Following amalgamation with the City of Parramatta, he was re-elected and served as an Alderman of Parramatta City Council from 1950-1959.

Parking

There is parking available on Broadoaks Street, Trumble Avenue or Boyle Street.

The best parking for the courts and playspace is Trumble Avenue or Boyle Street.
