The Newington Community Centre is close to the Newington shopping centre, behind the Newington Medical Centre. It features a main hall with a capacity of 80 and a meeting room which seats 50 people. The centre was originally built and used as the Olympic and Paralympic Athlete's Village media and conference centre during the 2000 Olympic Games.
