3D Data Requirements

Any developments that are proposed in the local government area of City of Parramatta Council require a 3D (digital) model, including Planning Proposals, Pre-lodgements, Design Competitions, Development Applications, Section 4.55 (amendments) and As Built.

Request for Existing 3D Context Model

City of Parramatta Council have captured the entire local government area in 3D the data is accessible to:

• Stakeholders with formal business with CoP
• Academia (Students and University Lecturers)

Planning Proposal

3D (electronic) models are required for planning proposals that involve one or more of the following:

• New developments over 4 storeys
• Major alterations and additions with cost exceeding $5 million dollars
• Dwelling threshold at discretion of Council Officer

We recommend you contact our 3D Team to discuss your requirements prior to submitting the 3D model with your Planning Proposal.

Design Competition

3D (electronic) models are required for each competition entry in accordance with Council's 3D Requirements Checklist

Development Application

3D (electronic) models are required for development applications where the proposed development has a value exceeding $30 million. These applications are typically assessed by the Regional Panel.
