Bushwalks of Parramatta
Despite being in the centre of busy metropolitan Sydney, the City of Parramatta has many bushland walking tracks where you can escape urban life and explore serene rainforest gullies, freshwater river flats and saltwater estuaries.
The tracks are also an opportunity to learn about:
- 200 million years of geological and evolutionary change
- 60,000 years of stewardship by the area’s First Nations people, the Dhurag, and
- Colonial history dating back to European settlement.
