Booking a Venue

Newington Community Centre

Council’s community facilities – including halls, meeting rooms and community centres – have reopened for bookings to the public with increased health and safety measures in place based on current guidelines. There will be a limit of up to 100 people per venue. Visit City of Parramatta's COVID-19 webpage for the latest information.

The Newington Community Centre is close to the Newington shopping centre, behind the Newington Medical Centre.

It features a main hall with a capacity of 100 and a meeting room which seats 40 people.

The centre was originally built and used as the Olympic and Paralympic Athlete's Village media and conference centre during the 2000 Olympic Games.
