About the event

The City of Parramatta, in partnership with Planet Ark, is excited to be hosting its annual community tree-planting day on Sunday 28 July at North Upjohn Park Reserve (along Dorahy Street and opposite Wassell Street, Dundas).

National Tree Day is Australia's largest tree planting and nature care event! City of Parramatta has held National Tree Day events for the community to come together to improve our natural bushland for over a decade.

This year our goal is to plant 10,000 native seedlings with the help of volunteers at the reserve along Dorahy Street in Dundas, continuing our multiyear rehabilitation and revegetation project at this site.

Come along to this family friendly event and take part in this community planting project, enjoy a free BBQ lunch as well as a wildlife display, free native plant give-away and other educational stalls.
