Maintenance Notice

The entire playground at Ollie Webb Reserve, including the water play area, is currently closed for urgent maintenance. The playground is expected to reopen at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, 2 September. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while these works are carried out.

Playspace

Opened in 2019, Ollie Webb Reserve is Parramatta’s first all-abilities playspace to feature a water play area, setting a new standard for inclusive recreation across the region. Designed to support children of all ages and abilities, the playspace offers a diverse range of equipment that encourages creative, physical, social and cognitive development.

Featuring skill and sensory-based play experiences, natural play elements and a secure fenced environment, the reserve provides a welcoming and engaging space where children can explore, learn and play together.

Designed with inclusivity in mind, the park offers:

Adult change facilities with a hoist and adjustable change table

Parking

The car park is on Glebe Street. It fills quickly and is used by commuters during weekdays.

There is also accessible parking and drop off points.

History

Horace Oswald Webb was elected to represent the Parramatta Ward on Council in 1948 and served the community as an alderman until his passing. During his years of service, he contributed to the growth and development of the local area, helping shape decisions that supported residents and improved community infrastructure. His dedication to public service and commitment to the Parramatta community left a lasting legacy, and Ollie Webb Reserve stands as a tribute to his contribution to local government and civic life.
