Belmore Park

City of Parramatta playgrounds and skate parks are temporarily closed.  This decision was made in response to the current circumstances presented by Coronavirus (COVID-19). Visit City of Parramatta's COVID-19 webpage for the latest information. 

While Council’s playgrounds, outdoor gym equipment and skate facilities are now closed in response to the COVID-19 situation; outdoor green spaces such as Council’s parks and reserves remain open. The public are welcome to exercise in these spaces while adhering to social distancing measures. 


LOCATION  Corner Castle Street and Pennant Hills Road, North Parramatta NSW

GETTING THERE - There is street parking available off Castle Street and Bellevue Street. The park is approximately a 30-minute walk from Parramatta CBD.

PARK DETAILS - Located centrally in North Parramatta Belmore Park also known as Richie Benaud Ovals features two sporting fields used by a variety of sporting clubs, schools and community groups. During winter the ground is used for rugby league. During summer the ground is used for cricket.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE - Belmore Park features the following amenities:

  • Amenities building
  • Street Parking
  • Local playspace
  • Drinking fountain
  • Cricket nets
  • Picnic tables and park benches

PLAYSPACE -  A skill based and sensory playspace most suited to 0 to 12 age group. The space features slide, swings, cubby house, climbing equipment and spin pole. The playspace is fenced and has a shade sail.
