George Kendall Riverside Park

City of Parramatta playgrounds and skate parks are temporarily closed.  This decision was made in response to the current circumstances presented by Coronavirus (COVID-19). Visit City of Parramatta's COVID-19 webpage for the latest information. 

While Council’s playgrounds, outdoor gym equipment and skate facilities are now closed in response to the COVID-19 situation; outdoor green spaces such as Council’s parks and reserves remain open. The public are welcome to exercise in these spaces while adhering to social distancing measures. 

LOCATION  Trumble Avenue, Ermington NSW

GETTING THERE - There is parking available off Broadoaks Street and Trumble Avenue or Boyle Street. The best parking for the courts and playspace is Trumble or Boyle Avenue.  

PARK DETAILS - Located along Parramatta River on the Ermington side of Silverwater Bridge is one of Parramatta’s most loved and popular parks. The Parramatta Valley Cycleway runs along the reserve. 

During winter the ground is used for football and during summer. Baseball is also played during both seasons.

PLAYSPACE -  A skill based and nature playspace most suited to 0 to 12 age group. The space constructed in 2018 features swings, climbing equipment, suspension platform, balance beam and slide. The playspace has shade sails.
