While Council’s playgrounds, outdoor gym equipment and skate facilities are now closed in response to the COVID-19 situation; outdoor green spaces such as Council’s parks and reserves remain open. The public are welcome to exercise in these spaces while adhering to social distancing measures.
LOCATION - McCoy Street, Toongabbie NSW
GETTING THERE - There is car parking available by heading to the end of McCoy Street. It is locked when there isn’t a booking of the facility so you may have to park in the nearby streets or outside the car park when the fields aren’t in use.
PARK DETAILS - McCoy Park is a hidden gem located along Toongabbie Creek and a popular spot for families to visit with its great playspace and scooter track.
The two sporting fields are used for football in winter and cricket in summer.
FACILITIES AVAILABLE - McCoy Park features the following amenities:
PLAYSPACE - A skill-based playspace most suited to 0 to 12 age group. The space features swings, climbing wall, spring rockers, slide, climbing web, stepping poles and bike and scooter track. The playspace is shaded by some of the trees surrounding it.
