Local Environmental Plans

City of Parramatta’s Local Environmental Plans contain lists of heritage items and conservation areas. These plans provide controls to protect heritage and to clarify the procedures involved when considering development relating to a heritage items, conservation areas, archaeological sites or places of aboriginal significance.

Development Control Plans

City of Parramatta’s Development Control Plans contain detailed controls to guide new work to heritage items or buildings in conservation areas. Controls are provided for building maintenance, alterations and additions, construction of new buildings, subdivision and fencing.
