Local Heritage Fund
City of Parramatta Council’s Local Heritage Fund provides small grants to owners of heritage items and properties in conservation areas for work that will improve the heritage value of a property. This may include maintenance work or reinstatement of missing original features such as fences, verandas and decorative details.
Applications can be made by completing a Local Heritage Fund Application Form.
Funds may be also be available from the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage for conservation work to properties listed on the State Heritage Register.
Approval of grant applications is subject to availability of funding and the eligibility and priority of applications. Fund limits have changed to 25% of the value of the work, up to a maximum of $3,300. Applications are processed and reported in 3 meetings a year with the Heritage Advisory Committee.
