INVITATION TO TENDER - ITT 1/2021 Upgrade of Rydalmere Park Field 1 & 2, Rydalmere

ABOUT THE COUNCIL:

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 82 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 257,000 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences

ABOUT THE TENDER:

The City of Parramatta proposes to upgrade fields 1 and 2 of Rydalmere Park, Rydalmere. The project includes upgrade of the two (2) southern soccer fields to Football NSW recommended sizes, with drainage and irrigation. It will also include an upgrade of the cricket pitch to meet the Cricket Australia recommended size for open age community clubs along with the installation of practice nets for cricket training and social use. Existing lighting will also be upgraded to a level suitable for ball sports training. The facility is expected to be utilised for soccer and cricket for state level competitions.

A final decision will be made regarding this Tender early October 2021, with works anticipated to commence November 2021. The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.

No pre-tender meeting is proposed, however it is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work', and if questions arise submit these via the Tenderlink forum or to tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au
