In response to the current circumstances presented by COVID-19, many services have been cancelled or postponed. City of Parramatta puts the safety of residents and visitors first. This decision has been made in the interest of public safety and in line with the advice provided by State and Federal authorities.
To help you take the hassle out of keeping your lawn maintained, City of Parramatta provides subsidised lawn services for residents in the Local Government Area (LGA) and is available for people with disability and carers with no support to assist them.
Under the program basic lawn mowing and gardening can be requested through a contractor and paid for using the subsidy.
This includes any job which can be completed safely without the use of ladders or scaffolding.
Jobs not covered
It doesn't include jobs that require tree removal, stump grinding, chemical use or the use of high powered equipment such as chainsaws.
We also offer a panel of contractors you can choose from who are pre-screened by us.
Subsidies are for $30 per job and customers pay the difference between the agreed price and the subsidised amount. Eligible customers are entitled to 10 subsidies per financial year.
