From 1 September 2026, the way Council notifies and exhibits development applications (DAs) will change in line with the NSW Government's new statewide Community Participation Plan.
The Community Participation Plan introduces a consistent approach to notifying planning applications across NSW. As a result, all councils are required to notify and exhibit development applications in accordance with the new framework.
City of Parramatta has updated its notification and exhibition requirements to align with these changes while continuing to support community participation in local planning decisions.
