City of Parramatta Council is seeking expressions of interest from members of the community to join the City of Parramatta Floodplain Risk Management Committee. If you have the ability to represent your local community and willingness to achieve the best outcomes for managing floods and flood risks in your local area, you are encouraged to apply. Membership is voluntary.
The committee supports the City of Parramatta Council’s floodplain risk management process as set out in the NSW Governments Flood Prone Land Policy. Your views will help to inform City of Parramatta’s flood strategy.
Meetings are held in person and/or online, weekday evenings (every 3-4 months), between 5:30-7:30 pm. The committee will sit for the duration of the current Council term (currently to August 2024).
