F.S. Garside Park
While Council’s playgrounds, outdoor gym equipment and skate facilities are now closed in response to the COVID-19 situation; outdoor green spaces such as Council’s parks and reserves remain open. The public are welcome to exercise in these spaces while adhering to social distancing measures.
LOCATION - 1 Onslow Street, Granville NSW
GETTING THERE - There is parking available on Onslow Street and street parking available on Alfred Street and Gary Street which is located opposite the playspace.
PARK DETAILS - The only sportsground site located in Granville, during winter the ground is used for football.

PLAYSPACE - A skill based and sensory playspace most suited to 0 to 5 age group. The space features a see-saw, spring rocket, swings, climbing equipment and suspension bridge. It is located on the corner of Onslow and Gray streets.

WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE
City of Parramatta is working with the NSW Government to revitalise public spaces as part of the Parramatta Road Urban Amenity Improvement Program (PRUAIP). This Program provides funding to Local Councils to develop open spaces and plazas, cycle paths, playing fields and streetscape improvements along the Parramatta Road Corridor.
As part of our commitment to the PRUAIP, Council is reviewing the recreational and community requirements provided at FS Garside, the adjoining Community Centre (1 Onslow Street), Scout Hall and open reserve along Duck Creek to inform the design of the North Granville Community Facilities Masterplan.
The Masterplan will guide improvements to community and recreational facilities to support your needs and the needs of the future Granville community.
